Restaurant Spotlight: Le Bar des Oiseaux – where tradition meets creativity

Le Bar des Oiseaux is a ‘must visit’ in old own Nice! A sort of gasto-bistrot, the long standing restaurant serves traditional French dishes (fish stew, beef cheek) revisited with a contemporary, flavorful touch. All in a charming, intimate and casual setting bursting with graphic pop art.

Here you can expect a deliciously fresh French meal, and like the decor – experience dishes that pop with delightful twists of creativity!! The fresh pasta dishes are a notable specialty too. Le Bar des Oiseaux features in the Michelin Guide as well as the Gault & Millau Guide.

Their 3 course lunch menu (entrée, plat and dessert) is incredibly good value at €20. A ‘must visit’ if living in or traveling to Nice! Reservations recommended.

Other restaurants owned by the well-respected Armand Crespo, serving food and drinks with equal quality and creativity, include Le Bistrot d’Antoine, Type 55, Peixes, Comptoir du Marché, La Cave du Cours and Bar de la Dégustation.
